Operations are responsible for the club events from A to Z, including the plan for the event, the reservation of venues and rooms, the marketing of it and media coverage. They are the connection point between the club and all university offices as well.
Just as mothers make sure their children study and have fun, HR members make sure that the club members are trained well to do their job and are engaged with the club by making fun activities, outings, and retreats.
The core committee of the club. Academics committee design the format of the club technical programs and their expected outcomes. They make sure that club members, programs’ attendees, and participants are getting the best technical experience.
What do you think the most valuable thing for the club is? Of course it’s the members. It is the marketing committee job to attract more people to join the family. They manage all the club’s social media channels and they organize every online or on-ground campaigns.
Outreach committee is the voice of the club. They are responsible for publicizing the events and programs inside and beyond AUC. Outreach formulates how our events appear to the public: from sending invitations to institutions and coordinating with university media outlets to writing proper articles to be published in university newspaper.
Supply Chain is the hand of the club. They make sure that the club has the materials it needs for making programs and events. They manage the club’s workshop room with all its tools, machines, and several components.
Responsible for making the club and its activities known in AUC and beyond. They make the club designs and videos, and they are responsible for events coverage and documentation.
Finance is the money managers and budget keepers of the club. They are responsible for devising proper budget plan for all club events and make sure money is spent on the right track. They also handle all club expenditures and collect all invoices and receipts.
What does the club need the most to be able to conduct events and programs? Yes, the answer is money. Fundraising is all about collecting money and discounts for the club. They are responsible for finding potential sponsors for events, connecting with them, negotiate and settle deals with the sponsors.
