The workshop will include an Introductory Presentation on Additive manufacturing, which consists of a prerecorded video tour in the Additive Manufacturing Centennial Lab. In addition, they will explain the software and workflow up to the manufacturing of a part. The session will end with a quick demo explaining the logic of the software from design to code generation.

Prof. Hanadi is a Professor of Materials & Manufacturing, Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Chair of the Mechanical Engineering Department since July 1st 2020. She is the University Senate Chair and a formal Vice Senate Chair and Chair of the Faculty Affairs Committee. She is the Founder and Director of the Additive Manufacturing Centennial Lab (AMCL). Founder of the Nanotechnology Master’s Program at AUC, 2009-2015. She is co-founders of the Yousef Jameel Science and technology research center (YJSTRC) since 2002 .

Eng. Omar is a researcher at The American University in Cairo, Founder & Head of Design at JEEZAR, besides being a Master of Robotics and Advanced Construction.
